Cluster in ObjectStore, this means an os_cluster from version 6.0 or an os_object_cluster for 5.1 and any earlier versions.  In the following text, cluster (singular) means a database cluster as a technical term, while clustering describes the mechanics of pooling/separating database objects, even though there are no os_object-cluster in ObjectStore 5.1, but only segments instead.
